Oh My Goodness!!

I am a bit shell-shocked at the moment: Today was supposed to be my "wake-up-at-noon" day, my only one of the week. I was, unfortunately, woken up at 10am with a phonecall from a Ms. Jane Loxton! Only the Editor of the Bridgwater and Burnham Times!!

Although I was still groggy, I think I picked up the gist of the conversation: I am calling to offer you a job, are you interested? To which I reply "DAMNSTRAIGHT!" or something similar!

So there we go! I had to make a post because I promised Stormy I'd let her know what happened and I thought I'd boast that I am soon to be a real life full-time court-attending short-hand-writing journalist reporter baby! OH YEAH....

.......do you'll think they'll mind when they find out I can't read? Sad

Thanks guys, and I'm not sure!! I'm just a general reporter, when I finsih my course, but don't know my jurisdictions...It's cool though. I'll be going to court soon enough to do stories!! I'm sooooo excited!!

Wow guys thank you so much!! Seriously, it is certainly appreciated!! I am so happy about it!!

I told LunarCraft and Annie about it, they took me out for a meal (at just one of the restaurants I work in, and then across the road to a pub for karaoke night!! It was truly fantastic!! Round of a applause for the lovely ladies!!

Sorry to be so delayed in posting my C O N G R A T U L A T I O N S on here but this is my first time at the computer for a few days.

As you know, I never doubted that you would succeed in this venture - you have done yourself proud (and the rest of us that believed in you).

I really am so very happy for you - you have worked hard for this.

Phoned Jane Loxton earlier today: I'm telling her my final college date tomorrow and she's working around that Smile

Also, found out that for the first few weeks, I'm going to be based in the Clevedon Office and will be transferring to Bridgie later on Wink

UPDATE I've got a starting date for the job: I will be starting at 9am on Monday the 16th of June in the Clevedon Office. This will be my first day of my 6 month probatory period Smile
