| We are pleased to announce that the chat room here on Merry Moot has now been reinstated.
We have decided that, at this point in time, it is not financially viable for Merry Moot to pay for a chat room.
However, we have decided that Merry Moot needs the chat facility and, in the months without it, Merry Moot has lost some of it's sense of community and family spirit. Also, a chat room's ability to allow members to communicate in real time is a benefit to Merry Moot.
Therefore, we have made the decision to relaunch the chat room. Unfortunately, for the time being, we will only have the free chat software the providers have available to our members and as soon as it is financially viable for us to do so, we will pay for the extra features, such as avatars and get it running as it used to be.
Anybody is able to open up and use the chat room facility, however, as it is currently the free version, we are no longer able to ban members. You can, however right click on the user and ignore anyone whose messages you do not wish to read.
We have also been discussing the idea of having a regular weekly chat and the date that has currently been decided on is Wednesday.
Therefore, the first weekly chat will be held on Wednesday 8 April 2009 and will start at 8:00pm BST. If you would like to find out what this time is in your time zone, please click here.

We are currently working on these to get them working properly, but they have been changed to a new format.
- New Email Addresses
Merry Moot now has a new email address, info@merrymoot.co.uk. You can email if you have any questions about the forum, need a hand, or just want to chat! The users Annie and Lunarcraft can also be contacted at annie@merrymoot.co.uk and lunarcraft@merrymoot.co.uk respectively.
