My converstations with telemarketers usually go one of three ways:

TM: Hello can I speak to Mr Murray please?
Me: Yeah sure. DAD!!!



TM: Hello can I speak to the resident please?
Me: Sure that's me. What colour underwear ar you wearing?
TM: 'Scuse me?
Me: What colour underwear are you wearing?
TM: Err...
Me: Oh and what style? Please tell me it's a thong - I love thongs...
*click*
Me: Hello? Hello?



TM: Hello can I speak to the resident please?
Me: Sure that's me, but I'm kinda busy at the moment - can I have your home number so I can call you back later this evening, please?
TM: No-
ME: I guess you don't want anyone bothering you while you're at home. Well neither do I. Goodbye.


I'm going to have to add ths one to my reportoire, though....

tm- are you happy with your mobile phone provider?
me- erm I don't have a mobile phone
tm- are you sure?
me- quite sure mobile phones are the work of the devil! poisonong peoples heads with those magnetic waves leading us off the path of righteousness, i bet you have a mobile phone don't you?
tm- *click*
