| I'm not all that good at it so I have just one gem of wisdom to give you. Don't get possessed when scying - perticularly if Tomi's there 'cause he'll punch you in the face... | |

| Could someone tell me about 'scrying' please? I get the impression it is a form or forms of divination. Am I right? How is it practised? Wht do people use it for? What do you need to 'scry'? | |

| Scrying is a form of divination and it involves gazing into or at something, eg crystal ball, obsidian mirror, crystals, bowl of water, candle flame, wax ... the list is quite extensive.
The act of scrying involves gazing into or at your chosen medium, clearing your mind and then being open to any pictures/symbols that "appear". The next stage is to recognise these images and interpreting them so that they make some sense.
That is my take on scrying, anyway. | |

| The organiser of the Book of Shadows Society (another pagan group in WsM) called into the shop - she uses scrying a lot and we could perhaps ask her to come to a meeting and talk us through the art (she uses crystals, mirrors and water - sometimes combining them).
Have a think about it. | |
