| Is there a particular spell or area of spellcrafting that you would like to master?
For myself I do not know how extensive spell crafting extends but I'm sure it is very wide and varied. For the time being I am particularly interested in protective practices against anything that is intent on causing harm to us or others.
What about you? | |

I'm now becoming more interested in the healing side of magick, but really I just enjoy doing anything that will help others (those who deserve it anyway )
i agree with the last part i just want to heal and protect any who ask if they deserve it or not is not for me to judge as their own mis deeds will only upset their own balance it wont upset mine

| i am generally quite balanced in this area i guess, i would love to be able to heal myself and others, but i would also have a leniancy just as strong toward causing harm to others for entertainment purposes... | |

| I'm very interested in the protective stuff, but I also spend quite a lot of time looking at the actual structure of spells, how they work, the different methods that can beused and parts (ie - opening/closing, limiting, symbolism (actions), words, intent etc.), what a spell does in terms of energy, how to build up a spell, stuff like that. | |

I'm sorry to say I disagree. Of course generally speaking I would say that one shouldn't judge as right and wrong are not tangible concepts and as such I cannot define. However, I would not personally wish to help those who hurt others because by doing this, I would be helping to cause another pain (any pain whether physical, physcological or spiritual) which would go against my personal beliefs. Cliche as it may be I do subscribe to the saying 'If your not part of the solution, your part of the problem'. There are people in life that, in my opinion, do not deserve an ounce of pity after crime that have been comitted and I would not even consider helping these people. :-OK, I didn't intend to ramble quite so much there! No disrespect was intended to your opinion, just felt the need to express mine

| magic has a way of working things out if you ask to protect someone and they abuse it then the protection would only make things worse on their part as they would invite justice to be taken out on them no one iis above anything we are all slaves to energy be respectful and work togethor and things can be quite pleasent but be disrespectful to what has been granted to you and things can get messy (Karma Wise) | |

| Surely for the spell to work in such a way (e.g. protection removing itself if it was used 'badly') such principles would have to be imposed on the casting. If one thought to put on clauses such as these, then one must suspect that the person has ill intent, so why would one want to protect them? If you meant that the magic would simply do this for itself, naturally performing in a 'light'/'good' way, then how could dark magics ever be performed, if magic automatically went for the good option. Or am I missing your point completely? Do you simply mean that good old karma will sort it out for us? | |

| magic isnt a sure thing and yes karma plays an enormous part but your right about the fact i would put a melting clause in the spell in case of it being abused | |
