Vibration.
Everything is slowing,
My concentration’s lapsing,
Words, Sounds are flowing,
Colours and shapes merging.
My body’s breaking,
Hands shaking,
Can’t breathe, can’t think.
I’m falling deeper,
Getting darker the further I sink.
My eyes are streaming,
I’ve stopped believing,
The pressure is too great,
There is no escape
Nothing to hold on to,
I can feel myself drifting,
Soul glazing over,
My heart is draining.
Ink in the lines,
That are etched on my face,
They won’t be going anywhere,
Like dolls in black lace.
What you see is a glass reflection.
An imitation that eludes suspicion,
Everything I feel is hidden deep,
Pandora’s box, that forever sleeps.
Perhaps that is why I’m not a book,
The more you see, the harder you have to look.
Listen to me,
Que sera, sera,
Locked in a cage,
Suffocating me for an age.
