well i must be a vampire as i h8 garlic a stake through the heart would definatly kill me and i like the taste of blood (i could drink it instead of a pint at the pub no probs) Smile

I'm e-mailing the handouts to Sarah to give out at the next meeting - I left them on my home computer so I only got access to them when I went home. Sorry for the delay!!
As for the blood - I do like the taste but I couldn't manage a whole pint - I remember hearing that the human brain produces a gag reflex after tasting too much blood, whether you like it or not. Shots would be a much more realistic measure. Very Happy

also, we drain our own, then share it around.
then we stick it in a jug with a lid on to boil, killing all bacteria and allowing the blod to remain in the jug.
then we drink!

blood does taste nice...
and as for garlic and stakes, they would not kill a Vampyr... Vampyrs cirulation goes through the bones, so a stake would do nothing apart from leave a hole that would heal up very quickly, how ever the chopping off of a head would obviously kill one.

Wouldn't harm them, and as for the salt there would be no reason for them to count it, the whole saying god's name would never work because it's just a word. At the moment I can't think of any others... so I'll leave at this...

As for aquiring the blood try visiting the blood donor sites, thats what I do anyway.

I was also serious when I said blood tastes good. But so does...y'know...lemonade. Cheaper and less hassle too...

Would blood stay the same if boiled? Wouldn't the protein in it cook? You might end up with black pudding slush. lol. Interesting...
