a look at the old me

i wrote this in my down period a few years ago

I LOOK INSIDE

i look inside this shell and all i see is a black cold
dark place of shady raw emotion, i feel alone.

i look inside and i see nothing just emptyness just a
soft dark cloud surrounding my every thought and
every beat of this blue lonely heart.

i look inside and what do i see a reflection of a
person i dont want to be.

i look inside, i see a cage, a screaming child trapped
inside,

could this be me or just my fear of what im becoming
or going to be.

im alone, im angry, im nothing.

im better now
