Darkness

the night is my salvation
peacful and calm
a time of sweet solitude
loneliness is my friend

but as most friends
can be a double edged sword
im alone all the time
and no happiness can extend

to me i see no future
where this blackness has gone
im lonely and its tragic
but i dont care

im alone im closed
im the phantom of the opera
im jack skellington
im misunderstood

to understand me is too go to a homeless person and give them some attention for sometime listen to them listen to their story and ask what you can do to help, then you will realize nothing you can do can improve that persons life.

some might say this is depression but i see it as truth
some might see me as morbid but i think im good with what i got
im alone and forever will be
even with a wife and friends
if this darkness is to ever be riden
we will just have to see
