| How effective have you found Majick and Spellcrafting?
We've tried a witches bottle and it was/is very effective. The physical effects of protection were so obvious that the people we were protecting ourselves would even swerve away from the buried bottle if they went past it which was a very funny side effect to see. It's the only thing we ever tried and was also something we were given full instructions about the 'when, where and how' by a good friend of ours who is a Wiccan. Amazing.

| One spell that sticks in my head was from a few years ago, when I was about 15...me and Aoife (from this site!) were and still are close friends, so we decided to try a spell in my room one day because we were bored...We wrote a quick spell and used energy to draw clouds in and push them along the sky with a strong wind: we wanted a challenge because the sky was pure blue...after about 10 minutes of meditating, Aoife began the spell for weaving clouds out of water and air energy, and about 5 minutes after that, I cast out my senses to try and "feel" for the clouds and push them along the sky by summoning wind (by which point, Aoife and I could summon a soft breeze but nothing more!).
When we'd done enough and nearly exhausted our energy, we got up, went downstairs, had a cup of tea and a cigarette and went to watch T.V. After about 10 minutes, we suddenly remembered to go check and we went to my back garden and there wasn't a cloud in the sky...
We felt very sad...
We both turned our heads to the East at the same second, and gasped...In the blue sky, black clouds were roiling across the sky, straight towards us...deep, brooding clouds, packed with rain....needless to say, we started jumping up and down going "It worked! It worked! It worked!"
Now we've stopped weaving Weather Magick, as after that spell, there was a drought in the East of England, and although we may not have been responsible, we felt it!
Does anyone else have any times when spells worked well or backfired?

| well once I prayed to the goddess to answer a question I wanted the answer for and the next day one of my friends came up to me and answered the question! I was really surprised as it worked so effectively!  BB | |

Then when I talked to them, they told me that the night before they had all met up to try a healing spell for me! It was really nice. Not only had they helped me get better, but it was a great feeling knowing that they had been thinking about me and had gone to the effort of performing a spell to help.
