| Same as me and before you ask Mel, I can't tidy up your posts, it keeps doing the same to me, I will talk to Admin about it! (Admin fixed it!!!)
And with drawing I have this image in my head, but it never looks right when it's on paper!

| Mel you are full of talents!! You may not be able to draw or write music, but you can write lyrical poetry and you have an excellent singing voice, you're good at cooking, you can crochet, you're a keen philosopher, you're good at maths... I could go on, but other people have to read this... All people have talents of some form, if they look hard enough at themselves. It may not be a artistic skill, musical talent, acting talent or a magic trick, but everyone is really good at least one thing! That's talent! Being able to do one thing (whatever it may be) better than most people... We're all talented!! ______________________________________________________________________ I can draw things in my head ok, but I'm crap at drawing what I see. I remember in art lessons in school I used to be able to draw comic-like action pictures and cartoons really well, but when it came to drawing things like a vase or a face, it all went a bit Picasso...

That always happens with all my art- I can picture a really good peice in my head and I can see how to do it but I can hardly ever manage to "make it work" as it were it nearly always goes wrong!

| I am thinking that I currently HATE technology - my internet connection has not worked for more than 20 minutes in a row tonight (I have been trying to get the connection working for almost FIVE hours!) | |

| Sarah, we had the same problem a few weeks ago. We are with BT and they kept on insisting the problem was not with their line but in the end it turned out to be a problem at the local exchange. They had to change a component there after I threatened to write to their CEO for messing us about for 2 weeks (1 week at a time with 2-3 weeks gap in between). | |

| Thanks Ray - I would love to say that the problem has cleared ... but it is still there this morning!!! I am keeping my fingers crossed, the connection has held now for 8.5 minutes!!! The longest I managed last night was 20 minutes. I have tried contacting Talk Talk this morning, without success ... I can't bear to listen to their music for a moment longer - I was holding on for 20 minutes!
Instead, I will employ the power of positive thinking and will the damned thing to work and stay connected!!
I am also thinking that I am wondering how Aoife and Aurora got on yesterday - perhaps they could post and let us know?

| Good luck Sarah, I hope it gets sorted soon.
It's funny, I was thinking about Aurora and Aoife as well. I hope all went well yesterday.
I was also thinking how wonderful it was to meet a few of the gang - what wonderful peeps you are!

| I am thinking that there are a number of "human" beings who are power-crazed and completely intolerant of others.
I will not rant here but just thinking about this causes my blood to BOIL!!!!

| I am thinking that I agree with Mum.
I am also thinking that I hate it when people hurt people that I love and care about for no real reason.

| I am thinking how sad (extremely sad) at the actions of a particular, close-minded individual who will not face up to their personal demons yet feel "safe" to attack others.
I will not name names and those people involved in the situaiton to which I am referring will know the players and story involved in this situaton.
I write this with pain in my heart and tears in my eyes ... but, rest assured, I will not stand by passively and watch someone I care for be hurt and accused of being things they are not just because of other people's ingnorance.
End of rant!!!
Thank you everyone here for being open-minded and unconditionally accepting of each other - and I mean that sincerely.

| Danny ... you have just demonstrated perfectly what a wonderful group of people populate this site.
Your offer is very much appreciated and, yes ... I do know that I can call on any of you for help/support/a shoulder occasionally.
Thank you to you all ... and to you, Danny, for making it so open.

| I agree with him, even you'd be less likely to talk with me.. And right now I was thinking about how I look like a chipmunk when eating Cadburys little milk chocolate squares.. I just like to nibble it at high speeds... Or run my two big front teeth over and scrape off chocolate.. both are niceee... | |

| My dad found a chipmunk in the kitchen once (I don't think it was you, Dorian - he didn't have chocolate on his paws). He trapped it in a bin and phoned the RSPCA, but they didn't believe him until he phoned back again and insisted they come and take it away. Must've been an escaped pet or something (but how did it get to my kitchen?) | |
