I am thinking how, for once, life seems to be pretty damn good for me. I just finished my january exams, I didn't screw them up too badly, I'm broke but I'm happy, I love my friends and tomorrow I'm having a social life (in a big way that I'm looking forward to).

Although I am now known for getting drunk with the aid of alcohol, I have spent many, many years of barely touching the stuff. Alongside this, Ken and I used to DJ in local pubs and at parties and we both found that we could experience the same euphoria of getting drunk just from the atmosphere generated by the music and people - the best bit was that we never suffered from hangovers!!!! Very Happy

I used to get that from working in the club in the Cabot, never had to drink but it still felt like i had been because of the drunken atmosphere, in fact i made more of a tit out of my self dancing sober BEHIND the bar than i ever have drunk on the dance floor lol!

And now i miss the cabot, just the good times i used to have there not the long hours.

I've had too many bad hangovers to count. I don't really like alcohol but I still end up drinking it. The worst one I had was when I woke up, immediately started throwing up, and continued throwing up for most of the day. I couldn't keep water down, so I got a bit worried and went to the hospital. It took me 45 minutes to complete a 7-minute walk, stopping every few feet or so to hyperventilate and throw up. When I got there they gave me some pills and an injection in my butt (which although uncomfortable, did stop me puking)! pale

Alcohol... yeuckh!... (Mine's a pint Wink

...)
