| So, what makes you feel alive? Or what makes you feel 'connected' to life or nature or the universe?
For me it's a variety of things ranging from sitting on a bench watching the ocean and feeling the wind on my face and hearing the waves and the seagulls. It could be just looking at the night sky and seeing the stars and the moon (particularly when it is full), or even seeing a large city at night with all it's lights and noises from a vantage point on a tall building or structure (I'm thinkning of Paris seen from the Eiffel Tower - there's a reason it's called the City of Lights!).
What about you? | |

| Well. Many things make me feel alive.
Lying in the sun makes me feel alive, sunbathing and enjoying the warm. Swimming in a crystal clear sea off the coast of Mexico. Swimming with dolphins and being with such beautiful creatures. Dancing to music and stretching and feeling strong and graceful [which only ever happens when i'm dancing]. Having Play fights with my guys friends and laughter. Laughter makes me feel more alive than a lot of things. Being with my friends and joking around, watching movies and being together. Kissing =] Being at a gig and watching bands play live, feeling the music vibrate through your body. Seeing different cultures, HISTORY. Makes me feel in awe of the past and how significant my life could become.

| I NEED to have contact with the sea, preferably on a daily basis. It is great where I am living at the moment because my bedroom window overlooks the Bristol Channel so I always start my day with a view of the sea.
Last summer, before Ken became so ill, we used to sit watching the sea every evening, while we ate our tea - truly beautiful days ... watching the sun set over the sea - the reflection across the water and the colours & patterns in the sky ... truly magickal.
Whenever possible, too, I drive in to Weston along the Toll Road so I get to see the sea along there but, as a double bonus, it is like driving through a forest as I am surrounded by trees for the most part.
I love watching the turning wheel of the seasons and autumn is a particular favourite of mine with all the vibrant, warm colours. I do also like the fresh greens of spring and early summer.

| Being angry (don't laugh people who know me too well!) and being a bit....out of control of your energy really makes me feel alive: brings me to my senses....
I love being around people who see me for me, past the spots and the bad hair and [horrendously] bad dress sense!!

| Aw Tomi, don't be so hard on yourself, thats's my job! though seriously I'm supposed to be your ego boost- one look at be makes anyone feel good about themselves! ...............................
I feel most alive when i'm walking through the forest, swimming, doing something, anything with danny, love, hatred or any extreme emotions dancing to electronica with a group of my mad mates, moshing to punk or metal in a big mosh pit, singing, meditating/weaving magick or any of that hippy crap , riding my bike or creating something- whether it be crochet, cooking, a spell, painting, drawing, whatever, I just love the feel of accomplishment when i'm finished

| ...especially in a baked potato or with chips and peas (bearing in mind you adjust the time of cooking depending on the age and size of the child - under 5's often need to be tenderised with a big stick before baking)... | |
