| I don't use magic very much but place more emphasis on getting along in day to day life. Magic does'nt free you from dealing with good and bad things in your everyday comings and goings, but a belief system that places emphasis on everyday life can lead to a much easier life. Havamal is great for this kind of thing. A couple of examples:
" Always be a good friend to your friends"
"The best thing a man can have is a store of common sense"
"A man should be happy in this life"
"The only useless man is a dead one" | |

| I think magic its a perfectly valid way of dealing with everyday life, its just a way that the majority dont use, and so becomes thought of as not being a 'real' one. I actually agree with you Solvo, men are usless, (except from me obviously lol) Simon | |

| Not too long ago I would probably have agreed with Solvo ... but, during the past few months, my faith in the male gender has been restored somewhat since meeting a select bunch who have shown that men are not all b******s!!! Thanks to the guys here who have achieved this changed view - I hope you know who you are. | |
