Do you have a favourite legend/ fable/ story of old? Write it down here! Don't worry about writing a novel about it, just in your own summary, what's your favourite faerytale/ tall-tale/ bedtime story, etc.?

For example: I quite like the Anansi stories from West Africa, if any ones read/ heard any of those (they sometimes read 'em in school). Anansi the man-spider and his various mischievous adventures with his jungle friends, like his tricking of the mighty Tiger and tying him up! Razz Hoho!... cheeky man-spider!

There are so many! I always liked the myth of the minotaur. Sad. Sad I think i got into that and other greek myths from the storyteller (a series portraying myths done with Jim Henson- big part of my childhood). I shall come back when I have thought of more...
