| Do people have a favourite crystal? I know that they all have their specific uses and meaning but do people have a particular one that they are drawn to? | |

| Before i even began looking into and researching magic i had two very favourite crystals. Tigers eye and Black Onyx, for some reason i absolutly adored them, in fact the first (and very nearly only) piece of jewelry i have is a gold and Black Onyx ring bought by my mum for my 11'th birthday, i still have it tucked away in a little box, but it is too small for me now and i dont want it enlarged because i would probably loose it Now though i don't really have favourite crystals, i keep on thinking about thoer magical properties rather than whether i like them or not lol shame really maybe i should start looking at them with untainted eyes again. | I know this thread is about favourite crystals but ... yesterday, while at a spiritual fair in Bridgwater, I saw blue obsidian (a huge roughish lump and a huge skull) that were positioned on a reader's table. The energies that were given off by this stone were decidedly strange and made me feel VERY uneasy ... this has led me to now name this as easily one of my least favourite crystals ... if I never encounter this stone again I shall be very happy!!! | |

| I have a lot of favourite crystals, but particularly:
Apache Tear because I was given a small piece at a psychic fair when I was younger and I held it in my hand constantly for about a week, so I feel rather connected with it and I like the fact that it is so gentle and helps to remove negativity. I also like the way that it is almost clear when held up to the light, yet you cannot see through it when it is in your hand.
Labradorite because I feel that it is very protective for me and it is one of the nicest stones to look at.
Sodalite because I was told that it increases confidence, which I need by the bucket load!
I also like Red Jasper and Carnelian as they are often credited with being my birthstones, and I feel that they give me more energy when I carry them with me. I am also rather fond of Fluorite, but I really don't know why, it just calls to me!!

| Ooh, where to begin?
My favourites, the ones I use most often, are: celestite, labradorite, sodalite, carnellian and clear quartz.
Clear quartz was the first crystal I ever bought. I have several points, including a double-ended one.
