Recently we've fust finished watching Season One of both Ugly Betty and Lost.

Absolutely AWESOME! Both are fantastic TV shows. I have to say that Ugly Betty is hands down one of the best shows I've seen for a long time and that's saying something as there have been several brilliant releases over the last few years.

If you haven't seen it yet then you should go to Blockbuster and rent it now! Awesome! Smile

Television was realitively new when I was growing up.

"Bewitched' and "I dream of Jeannnie " I LOVED THE MAGIC

"Lost in Space" A terrific family show and My absolute favorite show to watch was the Swiss Family Robinson and their adventures in outerspace.

"My favorite Martian" and "Mork from Ork " are childhood shows that are fondly remembered as well. Do I have a thing for space or what?

"Close encounters of the Third Kind" is a movie I can watch over and over again. The idea that UFO's are real fascinates me very much. "ET"

"Starwars" Of course us Spacecadets LOVE LOVE LOVE this series... and I suspect there was some channeling going on during the creation of these lovely spritually symbolic movies and have watched these several times. They are brilliant! By the way, I did NOT like Mel Gibson's "Signs" the movie about Crop circles... I don't like to think that ET's are manevolent. tongue

"Blues Brothers" was the very first film I owned to play at home on the VCR. I so loved John Belushi... and it was a long wait for this movie to be released. I am not sure if you are aware that when they filmed this they trashed a shopping mall with automobiles. LOL. They over did this scene, without permission from the MALL... and were sued for damages. LOL. This delayed the release of the film a couple of years. If I need a 'feel good' flick I re-watch this. I think I have seen it 25 times.... which suggests thay I watch this at least once a year.

I don't watch much TV now, but I do like the CSI shows.
'Ghost Whisperer' and 'Medium' are 'HAVE TO WATCH' shows. I love the Paranormal. So of course you can guess that "Ghost, Sixth sense and City of Angels" has captured my attention and are in my collection.

This was an interesting walk backwards.... fun thread.

You've got to love Mork form Ork and Blues Brothers! Excellent choices! Slightly of topic but I think relevent... What are people fav books? I'm always looking for a good book. My favourite book has to be 'The raging quiet' I recommend it to all as it's one of the few books I can read again and again. Set in the middle ages around the time of the witch trials. Also Northern Lights as well as the sequels kick ass!- can't wait for the film (The Golden Compass). Also, Clockwork Orange was a great book, though not for the faint hearted. Also don't be put off by the film, they missed out the last chapter of the book which held the message for the whole thing! Mad
